Behind the scenarios

Round 5 contains original practice adaptations of the supplied study handout, Eye & Ear Disorders, with page references after each answer. Clinical references below support the safety principles. Original practice cases based on the study topics. The hospital clip is an illustrative generated scene, not footage of the fictional patients.

References checked October 28, 2026. No ATI authorship or textbook page attribution is claimed. Practice performance is not a prediction of exam results or clinical competence.

Pediatric medication examples

The pediatric dosage case uses an imaginary medicine and a fictional reference range for calculation practice. Its numbers must not be used to dose a real medicine.

Burn calculation note

The calculation case explicitly uses the traditional 4 mL/kg/%TBSA Parkland formula in the course notes. Current ABA guidance recommends an initial 2 mL/kg/%TBSA estimate for adults with burns ≥20% TBSA, adjusted to response. Follow the specified exam formula or prescribed clinical protocol.

This prototype prepares a report for you to send to Kelly. It does not submit reports to an online inbox. Include fictional case details only—no patient, student or other private information.

Suggested updates require source verification and qualified review before they change clinical teaching. In a future shared inbox, reports could be marked received, under review, resolved or needing more information.
